From Rio to Tokyo

Rickie Fowler, the American professional golfer, made his Olympic debut in 2016 at the Rio Games. As golf returned to the Olympics after 112 years, Fowler joined hundreds of other athletes in Brazil for the historic event.

Fowler represented Team USA and finished tied for 37th with Great Britain's Tommy Fleetwood. Despite not medaling, Fowler made headlines for his camaraderie with athletes from other sports and his signature Olympics-themed haircut.

Now, Fowler is set to compete in his second Olympics at the Tokyo Games in 2021. With a strong performance in Rio under his belt, Fowler will be looking to make a statement in Japan and contend for a medal.
